well, here is the situation, (when I started writing this, I didn't think it was going to be so long)

I just had my car backed into in a parking lot and damage the front bumper, and I then got rear ended 2 days later and the rear bumper is damaged as well.

I have an 01 Z

I think both parties want to just pay out of pocket for it, so what I am thinking is since I have a rear off of an 03+ base that was just painted I would used that on the rear(after swapping the crush guard and brackets out.
and maybe using the money to do something else.

now here is the situation.

while I am having the front bumper replaced I could spend about 1000 bucks extra, (about what I would get from the guy for the rear and get the 02 front bumper with the extension.
(did you know that there is about a $400 difference in the z bumper without the extension and the z bumper with the slots for the extension(what bull is that).

or I could maybe get the rk sport front lip and pay about 600 or so after paint.

I have a west wings lip in the basement but it has a bit of a bow to it that I don't know how to get it out to actually have it look nice, so I think that is out of the question(and it would look funny with the stock sides)

or save the extra grand and use it for something else(maybe save for a supercharger)

I don't really know.

still waiting to go on(long story short, I had a very bad body shop that took 9 months to do a 3 week job(what should have been about 4400 canadian, likely turned into about 10 grand with the number of times they had to redo things, and towing, rental cars(about a 1000 bucks right there)
it was at 3 body shops and 3 mechanic shops while getting work done.
and that is why all these parts have accumutated.

eibach sway bars front and rear
ttr k brace, motor and tranny poly mounts(inserts) and dog bone
b&m short shifter
white led underglow(just for fun really)
toyo tails to be paid for on ebay
maybe some toyo mirrors from ebay too(waiting to find out)
waiting for some traklites to come in(it has been forever, and american racing in canada shut down so it is taking even longer)
have new tires in the basement
some fake leather racing seats that are not too bad, just need to make some brakets for the sliiders
some leather projects I am trying to work on,
maybe some blue led's in the cluster(yes I know the 01's are not simple)

and other odds and ends


I am in the air right now as what to do with the money from the rear(as the 03 bumper will look ok I hope)


I would like to see what others would do in my situation.
