Restore your side view mirrors

I dont have before pics but:

After time the bare plastic mirrors on third gens will oxidize and fade a bit grayish. i tired using back to black once last year. stuff is pretty junk for any part ofthe car. long story short lastweek I decided to see if POLISH car wax would take off the oxidized layer (w/ apolishing microfiber cloth) Buffed off the wax and it looked better. Did it twice and it looks like new. Mirrors are deep black now and the water beeds off them.

To do it right you need a "sealer glazer" or "polish" liquid wax. A good cloth. (micorfiber is THE SH!T) apply wax till u get it good thin layer. in small areas, buff hard. if you see the wax on the cltoh turn grey, that means its working. (its the oxidization building up into the rag that is being removed) let the wax dry. buff the rest off.

It also put oils into the plastic also, to keep them from drying and oxidizing more.

(sticky somewher maybe?)
