Hi everyone. just joined j -body.org so kind of new to the j -body and underglow.never had it before. The question i have may sound dumb but i don't want to wreck anything. Has anyone installed neon/underglow without the control box? I'm installing some red ones on my sunfire. Would it work without it? I was planning on hooking it up in a circuit. I dont want them to flash or anything i just want to simply turn them on with a switch. any help greatly appreciated! Thanks

did ya SEARCH the audio and electronics section or should we assume that was to hard to figure out?

i had a set of blue street glow neons along time ago when that stuff was still popular,
i gotthe set of 2 used and it was just the tubes andthats it so i did what u want to do and had zero
issues with it,





My car was made with wrenches, Not chopsticks.

If its just a control box that controls functions then you will be fine. If its a transformer then you will not be able to hook it up.
