I've seen some people who have taken the lens off their headlights and painted part of the inside, I tried doing that with mine, ('03) but I can't seem to get the lenses off of the headlight. What would be the best way of doing this without risking a crack or something breaking?
From what I've heard the baking method doesn't work with the 03-05 Sunfire headlights, and that you have to cut thru the seams to get them apart.
I've run a razor blade through the seams, but I think the sealant has gone a bit into the part where the lens and housing overlap, and I can't possibly get anything in there to cut it. I've seen a few guys on cardomain.com that had the inside painted, so I know there's a way...
By cutting them off, you may make it difficult for yourself to re-install without leaking and fogging issues. If you want, you can send me your lights and I can separate for you and even make you new lenses if necessary. Not only that, but I can install HID/Projectors & Angel Eyes in them too!
