I had a question about projector headlights, i was thinking about making my own custom projector lights since no one seems to make them, will a projector style fog lamp work as a headlight projector ? and how do ya get the headlights apart on a 04 sunfire
talk to john benham he currently has a GP going and he did my lights. They should be here in a couple of days.
Here is the link
NO, the non sheilded fog projectors cant be used they will BLIND the @!#$ out of other drivers. the only way you could use fog projectors is as high beams, if you use a sheilded projector as the low beam. i would go bi xenon unless you dont have the funds, or want seperate low and highbeams like my 03+ sc400 retro fit.
Well i dont have alot of money to spend on headlights right now, thats why i was gonna try and make my own, and i do wanna have separate low and high beams. ill prob go to the junkyard and try to find some projector headlights from something and just take out the projectors and try to use those
yep thats what i did, lows out of a lexus sc400, and highs are the main projector out of a mazda 6 with the shields removed

my fog light projectors have cutoff.......
thats cool, most oem and cheap aftermarket that ive come across have been shieldless and usually only 27 watts. what brand are your units? are they in your headlights or actual fog spot?
theres lots of options out there on what to do, but the main concern is making sure you pic up something that will fit in the headlights.......
i personally would not go the fog route for low beams, even if you do get ones with a cutoff, the cuttoff is usually designed with fog in mind, not the normal low beam pattern.
