I searched all over for this particular install and could not find anything. Any one that has the one piece headlights with the halos and the leds, I could use some help with the install on the halos and the leds, where did you connect them to? Did you find a way to connect the halos to the daytime running lights and the leds to the markers? Or did you connect them to a toggle switch. The headlights I am refering to are these
Projector Headlights.
I have mine hooked up to a toggle switch, cause I didn't want to run the l.e.d. and halos all the time, and when I'm parked it gives a great look with the headlights off. It is possible to wire them into the headlights but they would always be on with the headlights and couldn't be turned on when the headlights are off. Hope it helps.
theres lots of different ways to wire those, it depedns on how you want them to turn on.
Thanks DS I was kind of thinking about that but didn't think of what it might look like with the headlights off. I was all trying to figure out how to wire them to the daytime headlights or something. Thanks again.
you can wire them to any ignition source, and they will be on anytime the car is, but i would prefer the switch method, at least for one or the other.
you can get them on ebay for 100 dollars, instead of 250... just so you know! i have them and hooked them up to a toggle switch which is also ran to the ignition so if i turn the car off and the switch is still on it turns them off.
I am glad that I didn't get them there and pay that price when I bought them, this is just a site that I know has them. Thanks for the tip though. Also a great additional tip for the wiring to the toggle. Thanks.
I disabled my DRLs and hooked my Halos and led to a ignition source, when my key is on they are on,true they are on when I have my headlights on but when I only run my projector fog lights they and my LED cornering lamps are all thats on up top and it looks pretty cool. However you want to install them is a personal preference
Custom Gauge face in my car
I ran mine to my blinkers, so if I am turning the halo's blink or if I have my hazard lights on they blink. I don't drive my car daily and just use it for shows so that was my reason for doing it.
I also did not wire up those led's because when one goes out then it will like like crap, and they do go out randomly.

Yes they do, this is my second set of lights the first were fogging with moisture so rather than disassembling them I sent them back for another pair, so far so good, my first set half of the LEDs would flicker, these seem to be doing well I'm just having a difficult time adjusting them, I read another post up here about removing the remounting bracket and spacing it away from the light, the projector is setting too deep causing it to hit the core support, I'm going to try this and see if it cures my problem.
I wanted to do that just didn't get around to it. make another set in black and i'll buy them lol. Mine are chrome, not too hot about putting lights in the oven. If that's even the process you did.
Looks great as always Rick.

haha thanks bro. i didnt like the chrome, the orange reflectoror the leds.i was really uneasy about putting them in the oven but i just took the chance. scott is trying to get me to do his,buy opening them was the biggest pain in the ass ever. the 2nd time it wasnt too bad, but the original seal was hard as hell.plus the headlights being one piece and sooo long, you cant pull the lens too hard because you can break em in half if you pull to hard. so im tryin get out of doing his lol
I NEED a 97-99 LD9 engine harness for an auto.PM if u hav info.!!
that looks pretty sweet there baggedNINE7. For now I am going to install them and get the headlights themselves working so I can pass inspection and then I will hook up the others, I am prolly just going to connect them to a toggle and maybe ignition. I am not sure if VA will like the no DRLs so I am going to leave those on for now and will prolly put on a connector that way if I ever go through inspection here again I can connect them and they will be working for the day. VA is pretty strict bout this stuff, they even said my steering wheel is too smal and got on me bout the airbag not being there. It's gonna be a pain but I am going to put it back and then put my after market back on.
just a question would there be a way to hook up the halos to the DRL?
Thanks for all the tips guys, I have them installed and adjusted for inspection. I am going to conn the halos and leds later. Thanks again.
I have my halos wired to my fog light switch. Works great since I got rid of the fogs when I put the Drift kit on so long ago.
