Clearcoat peeling what to do?

As seen above..
What should I do to stop it from peeling anymore, then what?

Get it recleared. Shouldn't cost alot they just have to wet sand the rest of the clear off and reclear the quarter panel, unless theres rust then you run into other issues

No rust thank God, I'll start asking around to get it recleared.

they wont be able to just simply reclear it. its actually peeling. so. in order to do it CORRECTLY its going to have to be based AND cleared.

Yep, your better off respraying that with base then clear.

Or they can just sand it down mix the base and clear, spray a couple coats like that and should take care of it

Thats what the body shop guy said today when I ran into him in town.

I wonder if it has something to do with the antenna being right in that area, or the fuel door. or all the above.

Its just cheap clear coat... Mine is peeling on the Trunk lid, both rear quarters, roof, and hood.

agreed. my fenders are peeling. but thats cause it was in an accident and they did a @!#$ty ass job fixing it. so. now i get to take care of it. aghhhh the perks of working in a body shop.
