hey all im needing an exterior trim panel for the lower part of the door. And im just wondering if that piece is year specific or if i can get on from and 02 or older as mine is an 03.

I assume you're referring to the piece that goes about halfway up the door?

The 2003 - 2005 Sunfires have the word "Sunfire" indented into those pieces and the 1995 - 2002 Sunfire GTs (the only older Sunfires with those pieces) do not have the "Sunfire" indentation, but they are the same as far as fit and all so, yes, you can use one from a 1995 - 2002 Sunfire GT, but you will either have to get both sides from an older Sunfire or just try and find one from a 2003 - 2005 if you want them to match.

I think he's referring to the door skirts. It's the side skirts/rocker panels that have the word Sunfire indented in them. I'm pretty sure all of the door skirts are the same, but it was only on the GT models for 95-02. All 03+ had them.

question... im looking for some of these as well but i have a 99 se. Are those panels attached with 3m type tape or are there holes in the door??

There are holes in the doors. About 16 per side IIRC.

Godspeed: You could use the RK Sport door skirts(They sold them to go with the streetfire kit when used on the SE models). They are pretty much the same as the stock ones, but they attach with 3M tape.
