I just got my car out of the body shop yesterday. They had to repaint the pass side door. I'm pretty sure they removed the 1" peice on the top of the door that goes in behing the pass side mirror(on outside of car). I want to slide it back against the black end piece. But I'm not sure how to do it. I have a general idea but I was wondering if someone could fill me in.

Steps i'm assuming ill need to take.

-Remove pass side mirror
-Remove inner door panel
-Remove mounting hardward/screws from edge piece if there are any
-Adjust
- re-install inner door panel and mirror.

Any help would be appriciated.

it's the bodyshop's responsibility to put back ALL parts they removed unless otherwise specified by the customer.

give'em @!#$ and tell'em to put it back.
