Hey everyone! I need help with HID's in my angel eye projectors. I have a 96 cavalier. I have heard that HID melt the housing ,but has it really happened to anyone? or just a myth? What size of HID's will i need and how will i install them? hope i get some help guys. oh and i'm a NEWBEE!!

HIDs will not melt the housings. the problem with the 95-99 projector headlights, is they are made for a stock H1 (usually) bulb. The HID version of this bulb is very different externally, and hits the inside of the projector.

You can fix this problem with a file and about 10 minutes. There are several people on here that have done this, and run HID's in thier projector headlights. I believe some of them this is not even necessary, so get the HID kit, and CARFULLY slide the bulb in to see if there is any interference.
