I picked up a 97 cavalier I plan to fix up and throw on the road but it needs a new bumper cover. I've been searching around since the day i got the car (about 2 weeks ago) looking at pics of 00-02 z24 front ends versus 95-99 z24 front ends, and I cant decide. I know if i go 00+ I need headlights and fenders as well but thats no big deal.
I love the 95-99 z24 look but a few of my friends have cavaliers and thats what they all have. Plus i see them everywhere, so I was looking for something diffrent. Basically what I'm asking for is some inspiration to go 00+. Lets see what you guys can do with that front end, make it as hot or hotter than the earlier nose?

You dont need fenders the fenders. All 3rd gen cavs have the same fenders.

you might need to modify the headlight brackets, but yes, the fenders are the same.
as are the hoods, just need bumper and headlights.
I thought the headlight brackets on the fenders where diffrent. I'll see when i get it apart. Either way the whole car is being sprayed so it dosent matter.

Found this one earlier today.
i used fenders off a 96 when i rebuilt my 04. all i had to do was hack off the corner bracket completely
the brackets for the 00-02 cavalier are not part of the fenders. seperate bracket that bolts to the headlites and the one bolt on the corner of each fender. since you have a 97 you would have to grind off the bracket tabs on your current fenders..

Nice, loving all the silver cavy's, especially the ones with blacked out headlights. Must have been a popular colour those years, thats how i want mine painted after the swap. Having a hard time finding a z24 bumper, the lip is just an add on to a stock bumper right?
Stock LS Lip. But without a LS bumper you will have to cut your own holes or find another way of attaching it to the bumper.

I've seen them on sunfires as well.

those are stock cavalier AND sunfire vert sides... very similar if not identical to the base sunfires coupe sides
