i'm about to paint my 01 cav and i was wondering how to remove the rear side windows and moldings, it looks like it's just glued in, but i wanted to ask before i just go and try to pry it out

You have to cut them out and trust me they are a pain in the ass. They break easy. Do NOT pry on the window it WILL break. Take out the rear side panels so it will be easier to get to.

Or 40 bucks from the junk yard. I have to order 2 new ones because I let kids try to take mine out...

you can't take off the trim without taking the window out right? or can you.

It's attached to the window so you have to take the window out.
