okay, i am new to this sight and i want to know were i can get the information to take my orange front turn signals out....aka what temp to bake them to re-up the glue. i did search so dont bite my head off so soon. any help would be great. also if there is no thread of this were can i look for the clear lenses for the front head lights, meaning clear instead of the orange turn signal? thank you so much and look forward to hearing from you guys.

are you looking to replace the round turn signal, the corner reflector, or both with clear lenses?

The best bet will probably buy "euro" headlights that already have this done, but if you want to seperate the lenses and do it yourself, there are several different methods to seperating the lense.

But so you know, there are no off the shelf parts that will directly replace the components you are talking about.

well the reason I asked what you were trying to get clear, is because they no longer make headlights with BOTH turn signal and corner reflector in clear, they make these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2003-2004-2003-2005-CHEVY-CAVALIER-JDM-BLACK-HEADLIGHTS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ65Q3a12Q7c66Q3a2Q7c39Q3a1Q7c72Q3a1171Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a0Q7c293Q3a 2Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem4146ec1ef5QQitemZ280362753781QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

If you are seperating the lenses, throw them in the oven on a cookie sheet @ 200-250 for about 10 minutes, start pulling apart gently, and repeat until they are apart. It is not a quick process, and if you try to make it one, you will break something.

but as stated, depending on what you are trying to clear out, you may just buy those.

Making a custom reflector is not fun.....or easy.

There are these Euro headlights. They have the clear reflector and the clear signal cover, but the entire housing is chrome instead of black.

Yeah, I agree. The chrome looks kind of cheesy, but I suppose taking them apart and painting them would be easier than trying to find the clear lense and reflector. They are definitely pricey though that's for sure.

I remember when he made that post too, nice post until he made those horrible cracked glass looking corners, and I just thought.....why???

And to go with everyone else.....I was unaware they made that hood for the 03+ cavs. Ive seen several on the 00-02 style though.
