I am looking at buying a 2003 ls sport rer bumper for my 2000 cavalier.
Will this e an easy bolt on, no serious modification?

direct swap, just make sure you have the 03 bumper brackets (the black plastic L shaped things) to go with the bumper.

I think you also need the crush guard as well, the other ones do not fit the shape of the new bumper.
I think you just have do drill out some rivets.

Anyone have pics of such a look? I have a 97 that I'm considering a similar mod.

@ Blair Gray - try a U pull it junkyard, or just go to a GM dealership, they are only like $22-24 from the parts counter

Just so everyone knows I completed this, picked one up had it painted silver.
All I needer were the L black brackets from GM .. which was bs pricing - but took it in the *** becuase I got the bumper and painted for sucha steal..
and the license holder in the 03+ lss sport rear is larger, so I took a sawzall and just made the space in my current crush guard

not the greatest pics, the back end doesnt actually sit that high its just becuase its parked in the dip of the curb, it sits a lot lower, but I've done basically all ive wanted to it, I just got the exhaust put in now to fill in the hole where the old dual tip use to be on the old bumper.
and yea, I like these tails, If I came across some toyo tails Id put them on but these tails I find arent too flashy but give it a euro/sport look.

Does anyone know if the 2004 would fit a 1997 the same way. Just want to make sure.

^^yes, all cavalier and 4dr sunfire bumpers are interchangeable

I wonder if the exhaust cutout in the 03+ LS bumper is in the same spot as a 02 LS bumper. I am considering this swap but i'm wondering if my exhaust will line up.
