i just bought a set of these off ebay and of course i was told there was nothing wrong with them and i paid @!#$in 200 dollars for them awesome right, no i just received them today and they are i guess sun oxidized and its very noticeable is there anything i can do to fix them? like wet sand and buff ? or any suggestions and they are black so if you wet sand them wouldnt be able to see sanding marks??
Post up some pics.
But ya, you can usually wet sand and buff them out.

Post some pics.. could need just wet sanded and buffed, would recommend you get them clear coated to last longer though. But depending on damage the black border may need to have more black sprayed on it.
yea, pics would help, but worst case is a coat of black on them, then clear the WHOLE tail.
can i spray them with a dupli-color spray can of clear coat? after i wet sand and buff of course. and i would send pics but the damage isnt enough for you to notice. because the seller off ebay sent me pics before i buyed them and i couldnt tell their was any damage. i think the camera flash helps hide it to much. anyways can i spray the clear with a spray can or do i need to take to paint shop.
There used lights....did you expect them to be perfect??

You can rattle can them.. and if they sent you pictures it isn't their fault. And if they are in working order than what the hell. If you can't see damage in picture can't be too bad.
honestly! get some rubbing compound and u will be amazed!

No no no Red.... he needs to get a wheel grinder and 50 grit sand paper... comon now.
ok whats up with everyone given me @!#$ for wanting my taillights looking new, im just trying to find out how to do so. I thought thats what the forums r for. whatever, their oxidized and scratched so i want them to not look all @!#$ up. especially for 200$
200 is not that bad a of a price.. specially with just oxidation. thats completely reversible. now if you said tabs were broken or a lense was cracked, then that would be bad. but otherwise just follow what already has been said. or try some of that headlite restore.
I tried some plastic fine scratch remover w/ microfiber towel and that helped, I think i'm going to try to buff them w/ some compound and see what that does and if that doesnt work then i'll go to plan b wet sand, buff, clearcoat. if its just minor scratches do you think I should just use a 2000 grit sand paper on them then?
^^^ Pretty much follow that.

That is pretty dang awsome
Plasti-x and a Flitz wheel work wonders as well.

Do you get off with having sand in your giner? If you can't take a joke, then gtfo. Youre the one crying like a little bitch about some small scratches? Then you can't use the search button and have a little self initiative to use comon sense to fix it? Mmmkay... But i'm the douche right?
