I am having an issue with my left brake light/turn signal. I had the car inspected today and the only issue was a burned out tail light which was replaced TWICE in the last month before the inspection. They replaced it again, and while driving the car home from the shop it blew for a third time. It does illuminate when the headlights are on. Any ideas what could be causing this? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
i would start by checking the bulb holder, to see if there is corrosion or something in the terminal. Are they actually blowing, or do they just stop working?

They actually stop working if I remember correctly. My one friend posted to my Facebook wall that her Cavalier did the same thing and they had to replace the bulb holder...is this hard to do and/or expensive?
i got the same problem had over 10bulbs im geting mad lol how much is the bulb holder?
Just replace the light socket (bulb holder). you can get them from any murrays, autozone, o-reily's whatever and they cant be more then 5 or 6 bucks, and just connect the 3 wires.
