I have been looking for pure blue headlight bulbs and found a couple of sets that say blue headlight bulbs, but then under that is says super white. If someone could please help me out on were i can get pure blue headlight bulbs for my 98 base model cavalier. Thank u everyone that helps.

Pretty sure you have to do the HID conversion to get the real blue lights. A conversion is illegal here in VA and you're not allowed to have them on your car unless they came that way, but i'm pretty sure that's just here. I think the 10000k hids are the blue ones but i might be wrong.

HID kits allow you to achieve that color without being completely blind. 8000k is blue while 10000k has an even deeper hue but 6000k is the cutoff for improved visibility compared to halogens.

To answer the OP's question, go with Luminics Pure Blue bulbs. Luminics is a reputable brand and I ran their Ultra White bulbs before getting an HID system. You'll need a set of 9006 for your low beams and 9005 for your hi beams. They can be purchased on eBay or from Jason at A Plus Performance if he still carries them. Do not buy the $20 eBay specials as you won't be able to see at night.

i wouldnt go halogen and try for a blue bulb.

you wont be happy in the end.
