Are all sideview mirrors the same on all cavaliers? I am almost positive that 95-02 are the same... but what about 03-05? they different? or the same? and how about pre-95? i assume those are different too.

oh, and does anyone know which models have painted mirrors? and are power mirrors and manual mirrors interchangable? like do they bolt up the same and all? just a matter of wire or joystick going thru the hole?

oh, also... are 2 door coupe and 4 door sedan mirrors the same? or no?

95-05 coupe mirrors are the same and 95-05 sedan mirrors are the same. color match started in 02?? with the lss model.

don t forget that the convertible model mirrors are also different then the coupes and sedans.

What about electric mirrors? i opened up my doors the other day to attempt and tint my own windows and found an extra plug......wait, wait, i just figured out i dont have power windows, Extra plug was probably for that. What if i wanna put power mirros in?

if that plug is for sure the power mirrors.. then all you need is both mirrors and the plugs that go along with them. if by chance that is the plug for them, the whole install is as simple taking out the old mirrors putting in the news and plugging them in.

Don't forget you need the adjusting switch, cable and plate for the inside of the driver's door. I've found that the convertible mirrors share internal parts, but of course the mounting plates and such are different. Incidently, new aftermarket power mirrors are available rather inexpensively on eBay and other sites. I've even found convertible mirrors, very unusual as convertible parts on the aftermarket are scarce.
