01 Z SuperCharged ready for part out?

Long story short....Cars been totaled, not my fault, getting something new, bought my ride back for $63 bucks on a Salvage title. I doubt the framing in the front is cheaply repairable but is it even a DIY situation with the right tools? I've got it stored with room to play and most of the cosmetic items are easily obtained or fixed. How involved is fixing that front end?

While I'm here I may as well just start to feel out any interest on the S/C since the engine runs just fine. I'm in zip code 44313 and could possibly meet at a reasonable distance. Now on to the Carnage.

ive seen worse repaired on a sc'd j-body.

it IS doable.

but if you have you're heart set of parting out, go for it.

I have almost everything you would need to fix the front of that sitting here I could part with. No body panels tho

PM me if you want to fix the car. I'm in MI.

I also have a perfect red trunk lid, no spoiler holes. I could sell it for the right price. Not too sure tho.

From the small group of people who've seen the damage it seems repairable. Will it pass inspection though when I go to get it out of "Salvage" status to "Rebuilt Salvage"? If I can figure that out I'm going to get some parts put on that bad boy and have myself a rugged looking Z soon. I inherited a 97 Eclipse GST but I'd still rather have the Z back and just sell the GST to get some cash to use towards the cav.

Make sure you have all records of your purchases for parts. Atleast where Im at they require that for a Rebuilt title.

^^Haha, Your screen name was the first to come to mind when I thought of what I'll change mine to when it gets back on the road.

Just looking at it I just want to smack it back into shape with a sledge hammer and call it a day. I'm guessing it's not going to be as simple as that.....or could it? Once I get some more time I'll be looking the car back over and calling the shots. Luckily I have the Eclipse to to drive and it's got major balls but I'm starting to miss the Z. I just don't want to start in until I know it's inspection worthy without paying a ton for the frame work.

If I decide to part out I would be willing to do a S/C, HPT, Computer package sale. I'm gonna have to wait and see what I end up doing tho.

i have two new headlights, two front fenders, a hood for sale. brand new in primer, and still in packing/boxes.
just want what i paid for them since they are new and never used. also i have a used kinda scratched 01 Z24 front bumper that just needs to be sanded down and primered for paint. since yur in AK, if u want, for buying these parts, i can even help u put it all on...im from Parma. just need these parts gone, caz they are non-returnable parts, and my cav has been totalled, so i have no use for them.
