So, i went and installed a BC2 bumper last night, and it went pretty smooth, cept i had to leave a couple bolts out for now as the holes were outta place and it was getting late. Anyways i had left my interior lights on so i wanted to make sure it wasnt dead, started it up, and my HIDS wouldnt turn on. wtf could i have done to screw them up installing a bumper? are any of those bolts part of a ground or something? im very confused :s
hrm. That is odd. Did you by chance check fuses? I honestly cant fathom what might have happened, lol.
Are you runnign stock 9005/9006 headlights still? Or have you done a '00 or '03-05 headlight swap?
Maybe check all connections for headlights, for moisture/fitment? Maybe something came un plugged?
That is odd! O.o ?? wow.

well being you installed the bumper, and left a few bolts out, I would think your porblem is a missing ground. how do you have the HID's wired? are you using a relay harness?
Where are your ballasts mounted?
yes im using a relay harness, i have it grounded to the frame, grinded to the bare metal, the ballasts are mounted to the fram but with 3m tape, and not grounded to it, its grounded through the relay
so, it turns out the guy i was installing it with completely ripped the passenger ground and the relay-ballast connection out, and didnt notice/decided not to tell me.... *facepalm* all better now lol

Well i'm happy to see you did get it sorted! Sometimes you have that with people. lol
