ok im going to pant my sunfire in a few weeks but not to sure what type of paint to use, acrylic enamel, base clear, ect, i live in the country on a gravel road, and the car will spend most of its time in the city so, any suggestions on what type of paint i should use?
dirt/gravel it doesnt matter where you live, i live in a city, travel allot too, but base coat clear coat is the way to go i personally love using ppg dbc system
but thats me some guys like du pont, some guys like spies hecker, its personal preference
can i haz bondo
i was probly gonna use base clear anyway, just wanted to get a second opinion
me and my father are painting it, i just want a type of paint that good for a daily driver in the summer, but it wont be winter driven
again weather conditions have nothing to do with what type of paint your going to spray, its what is beneath the material what counts, bad/@!#$ty body work=bad @!#$ty paint job
good body work/good prep work=great paint job
i personally love using the ppg dbc system, it uses dt reducer through the whole product line, the ncp 271 primer is @!#$ awesome, the entire line is just awesome
can i haz bondo
im going to be using limco paint, its made by basf, i use their acrylic enamel paint alot and i like it, so the base clear should be good paint
