LS Sport coupe skirts -> sedan

Anyone done this successfully? I found a set of LS Sport (well.. Z24 up here in Canada) skirts, but from a coupe. Want to put them on my 4 door winter beater, but the curve appears to be different (the coupe curves inward a bit, but the sedan is straight across).

I'm assuming I have to trim the center part of the skirt where it meets the rocker panel below the door... so instead of curving, it's straight to match the car. Otherwise, it doesn't fit right...?

I did search But other than people saying it would work, I've seen no evidence that anyone's actually tried it, or they'd have said something about the curvature...!

i always thought the ls sport side skirts were the same for coupe and sedans. and also TABS i think said both sides are interchangable

I've found that there are different numbers for the coupe and sedan... so I know they're different. But I've heard of people asking if they are interchangeable, and the answer in all the posts I checked was "yes"... I just don't see how they'd fit flush to the body without being trimmed.

They fit perfect on the 'vert... but not the sedan. And I'm actually using two Left skirts, as I couldn't find a right side one that wasn't smashed up.... lol

I can take some pics if need be.

I know people have put the Z24 sideskirts on a sedan before, and I don't recall any of them saying they had to mod them at all.

i was wondering this same thing... how much work is required to mold them to a 4-door?

Josh, you'll have to find some strong ass double sided tape to hold it around the rear door area, I'll text ya some pics tomarrow

I used coupe import fighter skirts on my sedan, and they fit pretty good, just had to use lots of double sided tape.

which year sides are you talking about cuz if its the 02 ls sports, the sides are different from the 03 ls sport sides. the 02 coupes i believe only came with the sides that mounted on the bottom of the rocker and the front and back of the skirts sat lower than the rest of the skirt, unless its a sedan then they came with the straight sides that mounted on the sides of the rockers like in 03 and up models do. as for the 03 and up coupe sides the middle of the skirt isnt straight due to the fact that the side if the coupe dips inward and the sedan skirts are straight cuz the rockers on the sedans dont curve inward like the coupes do, well not as much atleast. but with a little fab work you can make them fit if you want. hope this helps.

Sorry, we're talking about the 03-05 ones. The late 02 skirts are the same as the rest of the 00-early 02 ones.

ok got ya. then yes im pretty sure your going to have to trim the middle of the coupe skirts in order to get them to fit properly on the sedan. i have sedan skirts on my coupe and had to use double sided tape to hold them in by middle of the rockers because there was a big gap in between the curve on the coupes and the skirts from the sedan.
