Got into a little fender bender, and need to replace my black out headlight covers for an 03+ sunfire. Anybody have ideas of where to look. All my local retailers in Canada cant get their hands on any. Any help is appreciated.

just paint them...i did it yesterday with some stuff from my local parts shop for my 05 fire... lvh or something like that came in a purple can sprayed on two coats just like spray paint and its looking sa-weet!! totally different look..
The reason why people use the covers is so that if they get pulled over by a cop they can just take the covers off and not risk getting a ticket/fine. Whereas when you spray tint them you cant remove it that easliy.
right on the money MM. But i have exhausted all my options and it looks like VHT nightshade it is. Cops never hassled me about the covers, so i hope i have the same luck........
Yeah, I never got hassled when i had my tails done. Until inspection came. Tinting them violates state inspection. So if u paint them, you must get new ones that arent tinted when inspection rolls around. Which is what happened to me with my tails.
wow, thats awesome, thanx. Im so happy i'll even ignore the useless sarcasm, and not retort with some of my own lol. None the less, i'm not too sure how i missed that, but if this company checks out i'll order them up
Cheers
like all the other companies who list them, when you call they tell you they cant get the smokes, only clear covers. Guess its back to the vht nightshade
brain storm here since you canonly find clear why not get the clear and night shade them. you get the benifits of protective covers that are tinted yet the ease to remove and clean or change whenever. also why not call autoventshade them selves. number is on any box like bug sheilds etc at pepboys autozone and advanced auto retailers. just stop in and write it down then call the factory direct.
or just don't go overboard with the spray like it states on the directions...?? but your other plan sounds great as-well hope it all works out in the end for you, because I'm really happy with how mine turned out!
