Windshield Replacement

I'm pretty sure they are, but are all the 3rd gen windshields the same? Also does any one know what an average shop would charge to install a new windshield if you already had the glass from another car? I'd imagine a diy windshield install is unsafe...

I think sedan and coupe windshields are different. I tried finding a used glass and having a shop install it but it was cheaper to just have a shop install a new one. I think I paid $190 for a brand new windshield installed. Most of the used windshields I found were $75 to $125 and all the local shops around me were charging $100 to $125 for installation.

I already have the glass from a parts car I own. I want to sell it to someone I know because her windshield is cracked (probably for about $50). I just am not sure what it will cost her to have it installed, or if it can be used. Both cars are coupes, hers is a 03-05 mine is a 97. I can call a few shops and ask what they would charge, but I want to be sure it will fit properly before I take it out.
