I believe I already told you my opinion on them in one of your headlight posts. Just aim them down and get the wiring kit for them. Oh and make sure you get the ones with the lifetime warranty because they will eventually burn out its just a matter of when.

They are the best priced and the best IMHO plus they now offer a lifetime warranty just cant get better then that unless you can find a company to do a retro with a lifetime warranty on it all but you won't heh.

heh yeah.

Yeah they are down to $40 for slim ballasts now. $15 for shipping though...

I actually just had a DDM ballast replaced on warranty last week, $5 to ship it to CA and a brand new one showed up about a week later.

I bet they are making a killing. Any time I read about HID's all I read is DDM.

Amazing what happens when you make a quality product and sell it for a fair price.

Every car I've had HID's in has had DDM. Awesome product, awesome customer service. Helped me quickly and right on the phone when I had an issue.

Can't go wrong with DDM. You just can't..

Are you guys running the 35W or 55W systems?? what about fog lights? Im looking at getting headlight and fog lights for my 2003 Cavi..

Ill need this for the head lights correct? http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/Error-Code-Eliminator-5-PAIR
What about fogs?

Im thinking about getting 35W Headlights and Fog Lights.. 9007 Bulbs (with Hi/Low feature) and 880 Fog Lights. Both 5000K

Tell me what you think..

Dan

Do 35w and use the wiring harness for them. 55w are way to bright to not be in a projector housing.

Yes, no clue and no clue. On my truck I never needed the code eliminators.

What colour do you guys suggest.. i dont want to go higher than 6000k. what out put would be less likely to draw negative attention (cops) to myself? i think 4500k but they produce more light than 6000k

i went 6k on my titan and wifes scion tc
35w on headlamp and foglamp

Re: DDM Tuning Hid kit

im gonna buy some 10k bulbs and some 6k bulbs and go with what i like best and keep the other for back ups cops dont really hassle people where i from for stuff like that so i should be fine

keep in mind the higher the kelvin rating, the lower the overall output, and anything above 6000k is @!#$e in the rain....

I've consistently used 8k, but I'm gonna get a set of 6k this time and see if I like them any better.

Not trying to steal your thread, but I got a '97 Cavalier. Do I need to get a set of both 9005's and 9006's for high and low beams?

i have a set of 55w 8000k hids on order they were shipped on friday they were back ordered for at least 2 week but i phoned them and they were really nice and said they had 27,000 back orders (not just hids)
as for 8000k i know they are going to be pretty blue he said since its the high wattage ballast it will wash out the color a bit so it will look close to the 6000k 35w set.
They had the best warranty and price that i have found so why not
I will post before and after photos if you like.

All you need is a set for the lows. I haven't used my highs in forever but this would be a good time to get a set of projectors since they're pretty cheap on eBay.

Just do your lows. If you put HID in your highs your gunna regret it the first time you try to use them heh. Picture this driving down a dark country road and hitting the high switch. Well the light goes dimmer then just driving with your parking lights on till they warm up. Not a fun experience trust me. It takes about 30 seconds to a minute to fully warm up. Then switching back to your lows is just as bad.
