a little confused

I have been reading here and there but im still a little confused. I plan to get hids for my car but im still not sure what i need or have to do. Do i have to disable my DRL's?

i need these for my fog lights right? http://ddmtuning.com/products/101/

and these for my headlights? http://ddmtuning.com/products/102/

is that all i need? ↑↑↑ i have an 02 z24

go here http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/ and it will tell you what you need and yes you will have to disable the daytime running lights which is very easy to do search past forums and you will find everything you need

i know what bulbs i need, i also read that you need to disable the DRL's,
what im confused of is that i read something about this in another thread

You can get those or you can ground out the connection from the wiring harness either way works it's just whatever you decide you wannt do. i have a 2004 sunfire and instead of the code eliminators i grounded out the DRL wire and have never had a code pop up or anything.
