Cavalier Body Kit and Paint Job
Friday, June 18, 2010 9:33 PM
Is there anyone in the Lancaster, Reading, Lebanon area that could finish my car up? I need my 2 drift side skirts fitted and a bumper support for the rear bumper. i need the whole car sanded and primered black. then someday i could get it all painted, but if someone could just primer it all black that would be awesome. I had a friend who was going to do it, but he is extremely busy and I just want this car done. I don't have much money to give, but can pay for most of the parts you would need. My front looks fine, the rear bumper needs a support so it stays up, from a 95-99 bumper, and the sides need trimmed, etc. Does anyone know how I could do this myself? I just want the car done!!

Ugh, you again??

FYI...those side skirts need more than just trimmed. They need some extensive TLC. And you don't need the entire car re-primered before paint (hmmm, I remember telling you that at least 20 times several months ago!), that would be a waste of money and of someone's time.

Does that imply that you want someone to pay for the parts for you car that you can't afford?!

I was sort of hoping you'd be less annoying the second time around, but this...

If I remember correctly, (and I do) there were several people more than willing to help you out, but you are too much of a hassle to deal with. Phil offered you a killer deal on a turbo set up and was even going to install it for you, but you changed your mind every 40 minutes about buying it. I offered to do all of your body work and paint in trade for your stock bumpers (which is a hell of a deal considering what I normally charge for paint and body work!), but mommy dearest told you it was too good to be true and you were getting ripped off...correct me if I'm wrong, but I think if I painted your whole car and only asked for two bumpers in return, I'm practically ripping myself off!!
I can only guess why Wayne hasn't returned to help you anymore...guess maybe he just isn't a sucker for punishment?

End thread.

@!#$. Evilution that was a nice offer, I'd give you my stock stuff if it was wanted by you in turn for paint/light body work. haha.

To the OP: Do what I'm basically doing.... Keep your body kit that needs paint/work, in the garage, OFF of the car, where it belongs, until you have the cash to throw around to do it RIGHT & paint it. Primering the car now, means re-doing it once it's time to paint it, so it's a complete waste of time & materials.

so you want someone else to pay for things for YOUR car because you're too poor to do it yourself?

Here's an idea, stop modding the damn car if you can't afford it. Hell you can't even afford the hack job way, let alone the right way.

god people suck

You sir fail. Get more money before you mod your car, listen to what everyone is saying. Im surprised any auto parts store lets you inside their store! You dont deserve to mod a car.
