ok. i have seen it dozens of times. i have a 2004 cavalier and i have had 2 other cavaliers but why does everyone with a 03,04,05 change the front end. im not talking smack in anyway. how you modify your car is your thing. i was just wondering why so many people with this gen do so. is it because there are more aftermarket lights and parts for the other years? do you think chevy made a mistake with the last cavalier front end? just always wondered. i figured if you have the newest one why not keep it that way. i changed the taillights when i first got it cause i had aftermarket taillights for a 02' but even with those i figured if i feel that way about the front then why even change the back. just something i always wondered....

Pretty much...
I've always like the front..just not the back.
The rear just grew on me after a while...
Most people like the 00-02 headlights/front end the best or just don't like the 03-05 headlights/front end. If I had the chance I'd swap to an 00-02, it seems like there are more aftermarket options for that year.. Just personal opinion really.

x2
I <3 my 03 front, but at the same time wouldn't mind the front off of a 00-02. WW lip, black headlights and corners.....dirty H/E in the front.....CF Turbosport hood.....time to stop. I'm drooling.

If I were to do a swap, it would be converting to the 95-99 head lamps, then purchase the IF front....as mentioned before, just pure preference I guess..
The main problem with the 03-05 front is that there are few choices on good looking front bumpers. The best is the Xtreme Tuner, but are next to impossible to find. Then you have the stock LSSport front which can almost be just as hard to get. Evo 5 is horrible, Drift is huge and gaudy, BC2/"Zen" fits like crap and no one uses it, Type J needs to be redesigned, Razzi/RKSport looks halfassed to me.
For 00-02- Wing West W-type lips and Big mouth kit, BC2 and Type J all look good. Plus you have the Turbosport hood, hmmmm.
I like both. I'm not a big fan of the 03-05 rear ends. But it grows on you eventually, too much of the red lenses.

I found this out very recently and due to the lack of selection, i doubt I'll change the front end from stock.
Im not a huge fan of the rear ends either, the bigass reflector reminds me too much of a Buick Century but eh, whatever. At least it doesnt look as bad as
the new civics rear lights, the new civics period. Ugly ass spaceshippy looking teenage girl-mobiles

I have a cracks to fix in the LSS, as well as painting it, then the RK will be up for grabs...not just the lip though, it's epoxied to the bumper, with the seam filled in..will be sold as a whole, ready to paint and bolt on.
Sorry Kyle, the LSS will be staying with me.
I was gonna do an 03-05 LSS front on my car.

Haven't given it much thought really...offer?
when i had my 03 i had a fondness for the 03+ Fire front end, never really liked the 95-02's the 03 cavi nose was alright with me but the think i hated most about the RK front bumper was that hugeass ledge on it, ive nailed my shin on that thing lots of times. its like it was said its just personal choice. the rears on the car i like besides that damned refector like said , i did the 00-02 Black euro tails and tinted my revese lights almost black

Eh, not really looking to ship. My free time is a bit limited right now with work to be able to track down a shipping box and quote, and there is plenty of interest in it locally. Sorry.

Wayne, toss me an offer.
Joviticus - I'm in PA
Steve - Yeah, Greyhound is great for cheap shipping of large parts, but I don't have time fo running around shipping/packing stuff...I've been working 60-65 hours a week, doing classwork, doing work on tons of other peoples homes, remodelling a house, and trying to find time for my own car. Not enough hours in the day, lol
