Needed: Measurements of opening in "TRD" front bumper
Wednesday, July 28, 2010 11:55 AM
As it states, Im looking for measurements of the opening in the TRD front bumper.
I want to make sure it will look nice with my intercooler that way it sits now, with out making different brackets and charge piping.

I would like a measurement from: (please specify if you have 99 or 00 headlights)
-the bottom of the headlights, to the top of the opening.
-the top of the opening to the bottom of the opening.
-the width of the opening.

Thanks in advance!

Phil, unfortunatley I dont have the time right now to get precise measurements.

The following are within .25".

Bottom of Headlight(99) to top of opening is 4.75"
Opening top to bottom is 8.625"
Width of opening at bottom(widest part) is 24"
Top of opening is a little narrower but not by much.

Hope they help.

Perfection, exactly what I needed.

I think it should work out great then!

My biggest complaint about the bumper is the lip they made to attach a fron license plate to.

I will probably cut it off and glass it over before I have the car actually "painted".

I had ..... the bomex big mouth front bumper I think.
And I cut it off too, but I didnt glass over it because you could only see it if you were under the car.
Since that I have went back to stock, but I want something a little less flashy to flaunt my giganic intercooler.

Thanks again!
