I've been thinking about removing the door ding guards on my 97 Cavalier. Does anyone know how they are attached and how to properly remove them? And if anyone has any pictures of theirs removed, could you post so I can see how it looks? Thanks.
they are double sided taped on! use some fishing string and pull it between the guard and the doors! then use your nail to remove the tape. some goo gone for the sticky residue. wax the area. done. hopefully your car hasn't been in an accident and they painted under the guards.

you can also use a plastic putty knife to help the process along. Patience is key.
