I have the old rksport cf spoiler that has 1.5 in. post with the endplates that are crome and carbon, do u know which one im talking about. my trunk has tons of holes in it from stock spoiler that show. so its either get cf trunk or new stock one but i have been told cant run a spoiler on cf trunk is this true? and how is the quality of fitment on the cf trunks?

Brad, the Sunfire filler section is the bomb.
I've always loved that on the actual Sunfires but at the time had never seen it on an actual Cavy.
Polished up it looks spectacular and I guess most people that have these don't know that they can be polished out to achieve a nice shine.
I've even had people ask me if the car was a Sunfire or Cavy. lol
And Brad, buff out that trunk lid as it looks a bit dull or that could be just the way it is.

Question for ya.
How did you get the hood to stay up? Are you still using a spring of sorts?
I had to delete my spring mechanism because it was too much for the lid to endure and besides, more weight reduction by doing so.

ok first thing... its got to be the pics because my lid was shiney as hell. believe me, i kept it regularly waxed and it was flawless.

i took my bars out same as you, just used a prop i found at wal-mart LOL. one option is the vert hinges, i always wanted to try them....

I was kind of thinking that it was the cloud cover that was having an effect on the cars shine.
I also noticed this on the other cars as well.
If you do go with the vert setup remember the extra weight that it imposes and what type of prop did you use from Wally World?

i wont be going with the vert center bar piece but will be using the outter tails, 00-02 inner tails and an rk sport cf center bezel. all nightshaded etc for my white car (on a stock white lid). the cf lid is going on my weight reduction is absolutely everything car.

and i dont know, its just some like wiper extension thing or something LOL. hard to explain but it looked at least decent so i used it.
