to anyone that has them, preferably 00-02 cavs, but any will be fine! i would like to see the light output on these. painted ones or ebay special! if its the ebay ones, how are they? do they leak at all? my concern is the light output on the corners.....

I don't have any pics with the lights on but I had the insides painted black on my '00 Z and it didn't affect the light output at all. Just don't paint the back part that the light actually reflects on and you'll be fine.

My headlights, I painted like the ones above and I noticed no change in headlight output. As far as the corners, I had the ebay black corners with the orange reflector and they lit up great. My headlights never leaked (I sealed them well), my ebay corners I ended up putting a bead of rtv around the lense because it wasn't sealed all that well.

The light output of the headlights is the exact same. Nothing changes.

I know that Ryan from WIGM had blacked out headlights and corners. They looked good to me when I saw them. The output was very nice for the corners and headlights.

^^ They look fine... as bright as any other corner light that's not an HID.. My particular combination seemed to have a deeper more orange look without all the chrome in the housing. I personally liked it.
