98 Base model bumpers, has any done this?
Friday, September 10, 2010 5:09 PM
I search through pages and pages and couldn't find anything....
Has anyone just painted the bumpers flat black on their car?

I have the gold/tan color, I put flat 17" rims on and blacked out my tail light and lower front turn signals. Calipers and drums painted hammered black. (some rustolem style) The un-painted bumpers look like garbage, but I actually armor-all'd them once, didn't look too bad.

Here is my car @ Cardomain.

any ideas or opinions? I kind of don't want the bumpers to match the rest of the car...

Yeah, that would be it..... I bought mine for like ~$30 shipped though last year. Definately made the car peppier and responsive, and my gas mileage went up. I cut mine when I got it at first, that why there is an extra coupler and clamps by the battery.

Do you think sunfire side skirts will cover the rust? I mean I'll try to fix the rust as best I can, might as well get these while I'm at the salvage yard huh?

you're gonna wanna fix the rust completely, or else your car will turn cancerous before you know it.. no fun
