Retro solutions
Wednesday, September 29, 2010 7:43 PM
I'm looking to build a set of projectors using the retro solutions projectors. But have a few questions as this will be my first set.

I'm imagining I need to use the small projectors on the site but not sure.... Which size fits?!

Also with this setup is it as simple as pulling the lens off and popping the projector in the existing bulb hole?

Glue them in or what?

I got a million little nagging questions and know i could pay so
Done but would prefer to build them myself.

Thanks for any help!

Get the SMALL. The large do not fit without custom bending of the lens. I learned that the hard way.
They are easy to install, they pretty much screw in. Just gotta pop off the lens in the oven then silicone back on.
light output is loads better than stock.
Get some clear lenses too, although it's not a big deal if you don't

Where can you get the clear lense. I could only find them online from trailblazer for 110$.

00-02 Had clear lenses, And so did the 03-05 Cavaliers. The 95-99 Cavaliers had diffrent style lenses, So im thinking he thought you had a 95-99. Since u have a 02 ur find, and wont need the clear lesnses.
