I want to order an HID kit for my 03 cavalier. On bulb type, do I get the 9007 or the 9007 high/low which is 20 dollars more?
Also, do you guys who have the kit have the slim ballast or is there enough room to run the regular?

Depends if you want highs or not.
Just get the 9007 low kit. You'll be fine.

So I'm assuming the stock bulb is a high/low? So if I just got the low I wouldn't have brights correct?
Correct the stock bulb is high/low. I got the high/low hid bulb because I wanted to keep my high beams if I ever wanted to use them. So yes if you just get the lows you will lose your high beams.

I'm not sure exactly what it is, all I know is that we don't need it. All I ordered was the HID kit and the relay harness that they have, all plug and play. Just make sure to disable your drl's

Relay Harness and it is the same price as the dual in dual out. Probably the exact same thing...
