So I am doing a 2.4 swap with an m45 charger. The hood hits the throttle cable bracket. Not a big issue with this car because I can trim it on the top where the cruise cable would go since he isnt running it. I will be keeping cruise on my car when I install the same combo this winter, I LOVE my cruise and dont wanna lose it.
Has anyone else run this combo, and if so, did you have any issues?
well my hood wasn't carbon fiber like yours, but I did have the rksport fiberglass extractor and never had any issues with clearance with my blower or cruise control.
I dont think the RK hood dips as much as mine, thats the issue Im having with this car. Grr, I DONT wanna lose my hood.
Unless someone has a CF Turbo sport hood they are parting with for cheap or who wants to take trades

GRRRRR
Decision time, OEM CF hood or lose cruise control?
lose cruise. let that heat go away!
I can deal with ac gone, I might kill myself without cruise.
I got lots of time to figure something out, hrm, my brain is already thinking of a solution to my little problem.
Can you just lift the hood latch some?? I know on my eco with a rksport intake and CF extractor hood i had to.
I want the hood to sit right. I have something Im gonna try, if that doesnt work, then I will get the OEM CF hood.
It must be the CF version. The fiberglass does not hit. Keep cruise!!

Cruise is lame, when has traffic ever stayed at the same speed. It always gets going at a nice clip around 80 then slows down to 65 from the dumb ass doing 65 in the left lane. I dont think I've even been on the highway when the traffic kept a constantish speed for more than 5-10 minutes. And the cruise in my car never worked to begin with, and it isnt even in anymore because it sure as hell doesnt work with the mp62 in there.

Check out this cruise control module. It actually ties on to the throttle from inside the car. Should do the trick!

Try driving for hours without cruise control and your feet will hurt.
When I travel, I put it on 70 and most cars always pass me up which is the purpose of cruising.
2 out of three of my cars have cruise and I wish my little daily drive had it. Going to Baton Rouge one day with it made my foot hurt bad from having to keep constant pressure on the pedal to maintain speed. After just two hours of driving it was tough.
Oh and good luck with the hood and supercharger. I hope I don't have that issue when I decide to install my 'charger and my hood gets in the way. Maybe.
