Buddy Club 2 or Rk Sport

I've been looking towards the aftermarket for a new front bumper, cause the stock look is getting...um...old.

I'm torn between the RK Sport front lip for the 00-02 (With the holes) or the Buddy Club 2 Front

Either front will eventually be mated with LSS Sides and LSS Rear...so I think both bumpers would look good, I'm just not sure which I'd be happiest with?

Anybody wanna shoot me ideas on the pros and cons of each kit other than installation difficulty and paint?

Pro- Rk sport is urethane.
Con- BC2 bumper cover is fiberglass.

Either way you shake it down it depends on what you want, because its your car. Do what makes you happy. But one wrong bump with the BC2 front, you will shatter it. Goodluck.

Wow, no urethan BC2? that blows...and with a drop and alabama roads that would equal destruction to a fiberglass...anything.

I've got a BC front and a 2" drop, have yet to bust mine on the horrible Fl roads around me

That said, I've always liked the BC2, probably the only one I'd switch to

Oh dont get me wrong, the BC2 is a great looking Kit, its just one wrong hit, and boom, gone. At least it was when I had my fiberglass drift front bumper in chicago, at stock ride height, and I still caught a damn manhole cover lol. But I do love the BC2 kit. Actually my girl wants that kit for her car lol.

Actually buddy club and rksport lip are same exact length from top to bottom. But like they said if you do alot of driving on bad roads go with rksport lip

Thanks man

I did modify the lower vents to fit '90 Honda Accord bumper lights but as far as weight, it's probably only a lil heavier than the Z24 front I had. And that's probably because I've done so much fiberglass work to it and reinforced it most everywhere.

I don't get the fiberglass hate tho. Sure, if you slam into something, it's going to show it obviously. I hit a parking stop and only got a small crack in the lip. That was fixed and painted in a weekend since fiberglass is so easy to work with and repair. Actually, the guy before took what looked like a sawzall and cut out for 00-02 Cav headlights. You can't even tell the holes were there now. Same thing on the back bumper, he hacked it up for dual exhaust but it didn't take much to take care of that.

I have a bc-2 full kit and hit a small dog and got no damage. Glass isn't as bad as everyone seems to think. I agree it is much easier to work with than urethane. The kit fits good, isn't to wild, and looks clean.

Between those two I would go with the buddy club 2, But IMO i think this is by far the best look for the '00-'02 Wings West Bigmouth. Im gonna put the side skirts off this kit on my '04, its gonna look nice with my LSS front and rear. But to each their own, its your car and in the end it up to you.

I considered the WW Bigmouth, but I thought it looked too much like the stock 95-99 bumpers...except with a lip and an even goofier opening that looks like some chick who smiles too much.

If I got the RK sport lip, I'd probably wrap it in carbon fiber....which would be uber sexy
