LSS Bumpers/sideskirts & tinting headlight relector?

2 questions here guys. I have an 04 LS cavy 2dr, and was wondering if the front & read ls sport bumpers off a 4dr same style cavy will fit on my car if i find them/buy them and will the sideskirts from a 4dr will also fit? If so any special fabrications i have to do?

2nd question, has anyone smoked/tinted with VHT nightshade the orange relfector on the outside side of our headlights for a 03-05 cavy? Do they still reflect/work? I've been thinking of buying need headlight assem(i need new ones) and getting clear corner ones and then tinting the orange reflector on the side. and possibly using the blue tint film on my headlight. since my car is blue.

you can use the bumpers from a 2 door if you please. sideskirts from a coupe will fit as well, just may need a bit of persuasion.

yes you can tint the reflector on the inside of the headlight. you'll have to bake the headlight to get it apart. there's a few sticky's at the top of this forum. i suggest you read them.

Also, few other random questions.

Anyone have the steps or a easy guide to pulling off a valve cover for 2.2l eco? i'm gonna get one in good condition off a wrecked cavy at junkyard and paint it.

Secondly, How can i pull the cavalier LS off the back without scratching it? Is it double stick tape or is it glued?

1. Not sure what exactly needs to be done to get 4dr skirts to fit a coupe, I know when you put 2 door skirts on a 4dr, you need to trim back the skirt a bit where it sits against the rocker, since the coupe rocker curves in slightly, and the sedan does not. I'm assuming you'll need to persuade the skirt to flex inward a little to hug the rocker. If that's the case, I suggest when you are ready to mount the skirt, heat up the area needing to curve with a heat gun a bit to help it flex without breaking, then clip it to the car.

2. To remove the valve cover, you need to unplug the ignition module, and unbolt lift out the coil pack (this is grey plastic piece with 2.2 eco logo on top the VC. Remove the bracket that comes from the right side that your throttle and cruise cable rest in. Remove all the bolts from the outside perimeter of the VC, and I believe 4 in the center where you removed the coil pack. Detach the vaccum line that runs to the intake resonator. Lift off VC.

3. Use fishing line to remove the badges, then clean off the residue from the glue.

I've been trying to fit coupe skirts on a sedan with no luck... the coupe skirt comes in about an inch in the middle, and the sedan is straight across.

Too bad you're not closer to me.. I'm able to find coupe skirts no problem... but I can't find a set of sedan ones to save my life
