k so picked up the car in summer, has a low end carbon hood (sheet over plastic i believe) its faded and discolored in some places, clear coar is a mess and peeling all over, down to gel coar in a few spots and bare fiber in others....any hope of repair? i've read some other forums n seen ppl wet sand and re clear coat but want o hear everyone else's 2 cents...ill come back with a few actual pictures in a a few weeks..the car is at my parents in Niagara an in London (ontario)

Same situation I was in a month ago with the same hood. If any parts of the hood are actually down to the carbon fiber weave and you can touch it then its best to fiberglass it and paint the hood body color. Otherwise if it isnt like I just mentioned do what everyone else has done to restore the gloss look.
