i really like the look of spitfire's Sunfire!! and after taking it off what should i use to patch the holes?
It should be welded to do it right...
i'd say 2/3 sunfires on hear have them shaved or where shaved lol.....its just the way it should be.

get some money gathered and you can have a welded trunk lol
ok, so basicaly jsut take it off and then weld up the holes, then grind down and primer then paint?
be prepared for some body fill too, cause it will warp a bit
wingless trunks are fairly common around here.
ok so weld some sheet metal on the bottom of the trunk, then fill the hole with bondo sand it down and then primer, paint and clear coat it? would that work????
I cheated and just put plugs in and sealed them as a hold ever. Looks good until closer inspection :p cause i've lost the desire to do it right.
shaved is the only way to go. I hate that stock spoiler with a passion. If you do the welding yourself, look up some auto body techniques. The thin metal on these cars warps very easily.
if you remove the spoiler do you have to rig up a third brake light in the rear windshield or something?
I think that law varies state to state ^^
Gotcha. ill have to look into that b/c my spoiler need to go! Sunfires have the worst spoiler ever invented.
Find a cav or fire in a junkyard w/o a spoiler and get the rear deck out of the back window.
