hood question

so i could use a new hood for my sunfire, and i have an after market fiberglass evo hood for a 2000 cavalier. What would be your guys thoughts on cutting a hole in a sunfire hood and molding the scoop of the evo onto it?

Well i already have the hood and its rough from a wreak but the scoop is fine is why i want to do this. Im not willing willing to spend another $500-$800 when i can cut, fiberglass and bondo what i already have. Money is tight i have a wee daughter and starting school for 21 weeks in september.,

are you planning on glassing and bondoing onto a metal hood? if so, dont even bother. ive yet to see one done well that lasts any considerable amount of time going that way

Thats why i was asking. I see guys with the 3m tapped on scoops. The tape lets it float. i didnt know if the fiber evo part would flex causing the bondo to crack even if it was fastened down or not.

If you have the junk hood already, why not try it.

Tabs already told you it wont look or work very well.
