New quarter panels

So my 2000 cavalier need a drivers side 1/4 panel and i saw that there are aftermarket patch panels, for $35 bucks that weld in. Has anyone bought one and just it wondering if its a good product?

Thanks, any tips with these cars on preventing them from rusting out there?

yes... take ur back 1/4 window plastics out and there are rubber 'plugs' if you will that cover a couple of holes in the steel structure.. pop those out and you can gain access to the areas that rust. my suggestion would be to vaccum out all the crud, clean very well and spray a crap load of undercoating down in there. hopefully it hasnt already started to rust, if so then you might need to look into some kind of rust prevention spray or something.

also, you can get the 03-05 rear fender well liners and they do a hell of a good job keeping the road grit out of there as well.

its all about maintenence and prep.
