I'm trying to install these side skirts on my 04 Cavalier. What type of adhesive do you guys use to keep these things attached to the door sill? I am having trouble getting them to stick to where I don't ever have to worry about it again.
Also - What is the easiest way to get the old "adhesive" off of the skirt itself? That may be my biggest problem now
Listening.... I need to do this too.
If the 3m double not working I just drilled couple holes and used flat head screws
Modding my j since I found the org

I was thinking about doing this, but I wasn't sure when the door on the car was shut, if you would be able to tell that they were drilled in the door sill. On my other car I had, I had the bomex skirts and thats' what I did, but I believe that skirt was higher up somewhere on the door sill then these are.
3m should hold fine. It's all in the prep.
I know the prep work is key. Just make sure the door sill is thoroughly cleaned right? But what about the old adhesive on the skirt itself? Best way to get that off is.......?
WD-40 works to, just like for getting the goo off when removing the emblems
Can also try an Eraser wheel and a cordless drill. Have to be very careful to not burn through the paint.
