So i figured id try and take mine off my sunfire and little did i kno that my car had been repainted white (car was already white) and the moldings were painted over so now i have a color change that shows and a edge that u can see from the extra layer of paint..for now im thinking of maybe water sanding to feather it them buff it and get the rest orf the crud off..ay other ideas? ill post pics later...its no big deal if i cant get it off im goin to start body work soon anyway but i wanted that clean look before my color change

I had the same problem. I could get the paint line to go away no matter how much I sanded and buffed.

so what solved tour problem? lol new paint? and honestly id be happy if the dirt would just go away and just be all white

well it just so happends i am a painter..lol but i did get one side completely off and clean but the other side the moldings were PAINTED OVER so i have a dirt edge so imma wet sand a buff and get it as good as i can, im not too worried bout it because imma start body work soon anyway for a color change but i still want to see my car nice and clean while its white
