where I reside it's illegal to drive without a front plate on and visible from the front of vehicle, as well as illegal to cut/modify the plate. just got a new bumper and don't like the look of stock plate bracket, and don't want to zip-tie the plate to the grill like my old one as it might scratch the paint. car is a 2003 sedan base for reference. curious to see what others have done as front plate mounts. also, while i was searching for this topic i came across an attempt of a gp for j-body front plate holders, did that ever take off or no? thanks
Put it on your front windshield
Modding my j since I found the org
yes but if you are going by legalities the you have to have it on your front bumper. besides if you are that worried then just leave it in the bumper, most cops wont hassle you if you have it in the windshield.

actually, you get pulled over here for having it in the window because they consider the windsheild "blocking" the view of the plate. seriously.
it needs to be on the bumper, hence why it needs to be bumper mounted. the laws in manitoba suck
Put it on the front bumper, just on one side... it's totally JDM yo!
No but for real... just deal with it, or move somewhere where you don't need front plates.
