do I just use a headlight restore kit on them or what? dont want to ruin a set of toyo tail light set. so what have you guys done?
so have a shop do it then? or is that something a wkend mechanic can pull off lol

I have used that as seen on tv stuff and it worked for about a week. Then, my lights were looking just like they did before.
I think I will try to buff with that meguires plast-x first if that doesnt do it I will try wet sand then clear coat. what grit 1500?
I always did my head lights with 600 then 1200 and they turn out very clear..
is ok even if im doing this on the toyota cavalier tails they are black trim with amber turn signals? I mean if I sand on the them will it go down into the black and mess them up?
all ur doing when ur sanding is scuffing the surface to put a sand scratch so the clear will have something to hold onto..and they will be very clear when ur done....and it shouldnt mess up the black
ok cool thanks guys for the input on this for me.
final sanding before polish use 3M Trizact 3000 grit pad. No swirl marks even with the lights on at night.
just hand sanding we are talking about right?
