They were never a production part strictly forbthe commercial as to avoid copyrighted design infringement and to avoid paying royalties to gm n others forbuse of their image. thats why when u look at say all state commercial where he peels back the blue wrecked car n reveils a silver one well we all know they are honda civics howevers they just using bodywork n some.paint minipulated the image enough so they can get aeound. this is all that that tail light was u speak of also its amazing what editing can do so that comes into play also.
