I know that there are a few out there who have trimmed the front bumper in their pre 00 for 00 plus headlights....

Anyone got any quick info on how much to cut or what they used for a clean cut on theirs.....

Test fit, Trim a little, test fit again, trim a little....

You're basically going to cut it down about the same amount as the dip in the middle on the 95-99 bumpers. It's approximately an inch.

I would recommend using a razor knife with a fresh blade, and tape off where you're going to cut. Make light cuts working toward deeper to get a clean edge, then sand it after you cut to soften the edges a bit.

And please cut it down around the corner lights, too. It drives me nuts when people just cut it until the front of the bumper sits straight, and taper it back. The headlights and the corner lights sit about an inch lower all the way around.
