I don't think there's much doubt as to what he MEANT to say there.
The problem I see with Bush is that he's leading the country Hands-off. I doubt that there is a single bill put forward by the Whitehouse that's actually from Bush. That's not a big problem, but there's no thought behind what's being done. Spending is putting the economy into a nasty shake, and now Tax refunds are being issued before Social Security is being dealt with, and the War Effort is basically compounding that by eating up Money that could be used to close the defecit (not the debt, defeceit is the shortfall on interest payments).
I'm just saying, Talking is fine, and have a look at the ones that you posted (even if they were accredited and dated) and then look at what's been happening over the last 2 years with Bush at the helm... Lets just say I'm pretty sure he's not been to an economics class he's paid attention to in the last 40 some-odd years.

If you use standardized testing as a sign of intelligence, I'm smarter then our current president. I scored higher on my SAT's. I hold some power over the English language. In fact, I can spell language. I honestly believe if you dyed Bush's hair red and gave him twin six shooters, he'd happily play the part of Yosemite Sam. Wanna know what I current position I hold?
