Italian Journalist shot

Im just wondering what all of you think about this. I think the fog of war has played to much into this and we should wait until we figure out exactly just what happenned. I think its absurd that U.S. forces shot at them because the U.S. wanted her killed. If they did then why did the stop firing when they realized it was a mistake and not finish the job?

I also read and seen on the news about this tragedy. I really want to see what the outcome is going to be. What a terrible scituation and I hope that there was just cause for this incident.

There are a lot of rumors flying around. First one is that the bodyguard was target because he ignored no-paying-kidnappers agreement with US and paid money for the girl to be released. Second is that they wanted to scare them so they don`t come back, since the journalist was reporting against americans all the way. Third is that they tried to kill them, which is pretty unlikely.

The truth is probably nowhere near being found
